Our Learning Philosophy
A Practice-First Approach
The system’s structure is predicated on the notion that habits are formed and skills are developed through incremental repetitive practice. As such, the individual lessons function as drills – a series of small actions that build on one another in a sort of step-ladder fashion and lead to observable progress in terms of fluency and confidence.

How We Teach
Learning is positioned as a process, rather than a series of skills to be checked off. The concept to be learned is broken down into actionable steps, illustrated with examples, and then practiced under guidance. The system’s approach seems to focus on creating a sense of gradual, steady progress, where each lesson builds upon the last. An emphasis is placed on being able to move at one’s own pace, and repeat lessons as necessary.
Core Values
The text emphasizes the value of clarity over complexity, frequency over intensity, and the development of confidence through incremental successes. Lessons are structured to create a sense of momentum and progression, with defined outcomes and iterative feedback mechanisms. It seems the system is to foster a positive environment.
Our Community
The learning community is described as one of shared practice and mutual support, where students share experiences and insights, ask questions, and celebrate achievements. The role of the instructor is as a coach, aiding students in the application of skills. The intent of the community appears to be to foster a supportive learning environment.
